Bozzhyra Tract
Bozzhyra is one of the landscapes that makes Aktau more than a Caspian port. The tract is defined by chalk cliffs, isolated peaks, empty plateaus, and a sense of scale that is difficult to understand from photographs alone.
This is a serious day or overnight route rather than a casual city excursion. Roads, weather, vehicle choice, water, and timing all matter. The reward is a landscape that feels both minimal and monumental.
Late afternoon and early morning light are strongest for photography, but logistics should always come before the perfect shot.
