KITF 2017 Tourism Fair Almaty

The 2017 KITF tourism fair took place from 19 to 21 April 2017 at the Atakent Expo Center. The fair has become the venue where dozens of travel companies, service providers, tourist associations and individual tourism specialists have gathered to discuss the opportunities and prospects in the new 2017 spring season.
Like in previous years, one part of the exhibition was traditionally composed of local travel agencies and tour operators, transport companies, thematic travel service providers such as natural reserves, tourist offices, adventure and sports companies, as well as hotels and local cafes and restaurants.
The other part delivered the outbound opportunities to physical persons and businesses: representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Turkey, Dominical Republic, Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Malaysia and many other destinations have presented their tour products and discussed how residents of Kazakhstan can be catered to make their trip a memorable experience.
The fair, as usual, was well planned and organized, with a professional touch to detail and excellence. A number of presentations and seminars were held to tell visitors about Kazakhstan and important upcoming events, such as the Astana Expo 2017 energy show. A special event, Travel the Silk Road and Visit Astana Expo 2017 Road Show, made the participants aware of the travel opportunities and infrastructure that was made available in preparation to the Expo 2017.
A designated bus took participants around Almaty in a special City Photo Tour to tell about beauties of Almaty.
