Management Training Program for Executives (MTPEU - EU Management Training Program)
Business representatives, executives of enterprises and companies of Uzbekistan are sent for training in European Union companies to study management, establish contacts with European partners and learn the principles of doing business in the EU.
The Management Training Program, “Strengthening the Capacity of Managers of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan” (MTPEU), sends business representatives of Uzbekistan, company executives and enterprise managers for internships in European business companies.
The goal of the project, funded by the European Union in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, is to increase the number of well-trained managers capable of effectively managing small and medium-sized enterprises in the country.
Internships are organized in companies located in all 28 member states of the European Union. The host country is selected by agreement between participants and project staff.
During training and internships in host companies in Europe, managerial staff from Uzbekistan can:
- exchange experience with their European colleagues;
- study management methods used in leading companies;
- learn about the culture of doing business.
An accompanying goal is also to establish business connections between companies of the EU and Uzbekistan.
This program may be of interest to companies in the tourism industry, in particular tour operators and travel agencies of Uzbekistan.
The management training program is fully funded by the European Union. Participants from Uzbekistan will go for internships to such well-known companies as the British WYG International Limited and the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, the French Ile-de-France and the Greek PLANET S.A.
